Last Class

Last night we were suppose to present our controversial issue group projects, but it decided to snow in Boone and Dr. Nita couldn't make it down the mountain. We ended up trying to do our class using our microphones. I went to Tina's house because I knew I didn't have a power point program on my computer. It was kind of nice having someone there to help work through on the logistics of setting up the microphone. It took us an hour before we could get anything started. We did get to hear gang topic from one group. They had a really good presenation and you could tell they put a lot of work into it. My group wanted to wait until the next class session because we want to wear our t-shirts that we had made for the presentation. Tina even made cheesebraid...which I got help eat since I was at her house. :)

Today I worked on my copyright project a little while at school. I had a poster made last week from the print out that the librarian sends to everyone about copyright. I just made it much larger and laminated it. Now I just need to get hung up in the copyroom. I am planning on sending out a situational quiz about different copyright issues and then send out all the information that my librarian usually sends out. I am going to try to work on the other parts to this project maybe tonight or tomorrow. I am going to have a quiet night to myself while my husband is off hunting!

Things are wrapping up...I can't believe we're almost finished with our first semester. I can't wait to eat at Carraba's for our last class in 5010!
